The dreams I once imagined have become my responsibilities. What began as one store grew into many businesses, a family, a team. I arrived somewhere I had only ever pictured. Success didn’t simplify my life. It expanded my responsibility.

One cannabis store became a mission to change an industry. I got here through consistency more than talent — showing up daily, staying in the game through every setback. The hardest part was never the hours. It was carrying uncertainty while everyone looked to me for certainty — rebuilding a team, launching businesses, raising a newborn son, all at once.

I stopped waiting for clarity. I just kept moving.

I stopped measuring success by milestones and started measuring it by capability. Every challenge asked for a different version of me — more patient, more disciplined, more accountable. The real reward was never the business or the recognition. I’ve become the person my younger self would have looked to for direction — because I keep moving when no one can tell me what comes next.

Clarity comes from action, not from stillness.
